Testing out the new Nikon M-223 2-8X scope at the range. Scope was easily dialed in and had great clarity! Maintained a constant zero, and had comfortable eye relief.

Did you zero using the maximum magnification?
Can anyone tell me if this is fact or fiction? Id like to know if barrel, twist rate 1:7, 1:8, 1:9… really effect this scopes accuracy and dependability. Anyone test this theory so I can put rumors to rest?? Please let me know. Thanks- Jeff Kimber
Carbine or what size barrel? Does the M223 work for the carbine at long range. Dead on at 100 after sight in but is it dead on bullseye once you make your adjustments to 200+. Just wondering because I'm running a holographic sight made by eotech (cheaper 512 series) and am looking for a precision scope. Rumor has it that they tested the M223 with a 24" barrel meaning at ranges exceeding 200yrds (because at 200 your carbine and 24" are about even) that the scope itself will be off w/ 16" barrel.
