  1. I'm thinking about getting this over the Primary Arms "ultimate weapon light" just because it's lighter and streamlight has a lifetime warranty BUT, I'm wondering if that warranty will be voided if I cerakote the body of the light. Anyone have any input on this?

  2. Mine will actually cut out for a split second when you pull the trigger… it's annoying. It's the same when the bolt cycles. It is on an Ultimak rail on my SGL31, so that could have something to do with it, but still… just the hammer dropping it cuts out? I'll prob replace it with a M300.

  3. I don't know if I'll be using this one or there new one (protac HL-X) which is 1000 lumins. These lights are fantastic for the price. I carry the protac 1 which takes 1 CR123 battery or a AA witch is nice for EDC and they offer the same light in a rail mount configuration. Good review! keep them coming.

  4. You can very easily direct mount it to that MLoK rail in the vid. Oh and it's also well worth mentioning that the light modes are programmable. We program them to just be Hi output only, no strobe or low output. I'm not a fan of multi function lights on my weapons. For a handheld , maybe but no go on a weapon. but that's the beauty of the Railmount1 and 2. You get Surefire mount compatability, programmable functions, a decent amount of throw and lumens, and both clicky tailcap and duel function tapeswitch all for around 100 bucks which is pretty much unheard of!

  5. These are awesome. Eventhough I don't know how they got away with making an exact copy of the Surefire mount, I'm glad the did cause not only will they use all the SF mounts but you can DIY direct mount them just like I do my SF Scouts! Which eliminates the need the for pic rail sections and/or a light mount! The biggest con IMO is the finish. I wish they would use a Type 3 anodizing instead of the painted type finish.
