Brite-Strike QUICK CAM ROTO-LOC Flashlight Holster REVIEW

This is a review of the Quick Cam Roto-Loc flashlight holster made by Brite-Strike Technologies.

I have used this holster for two years and much prefer it over the Safariland and/or leather “tube” type holsters. Access to your flashlight is much easier and retention via a locking mechanism is a huge plus.

  1. Tnx for the video. I'm a mechanic and use the same flashlight every day at work. Been using a safariland 306 holster but just ordered this one to try too.

  2. After watching this video I went to Amazon and purchased the stream light Strion DS HL and the Bright Strike holster featured in the video. They work perfectly together. Super happy with both products. Thanks for making these videos!

  3. I would glue a red lens into the bottom. That way when you are on traffic stops the red will serve as a better warning to other road users as well as conserving your night vision while writing in the vehicle as you were. Stay safe!

  4. I have the same holster, but found it was unnecessarily bulky, so I modified it by sawing the roto part off and replaced belt clip with Blade Tech Tek Lok. It's MUCH flatter now, and can be worn with a regular sturdy belt, but you lose the roto capability.
I also find that this holster works great with the Thyrm Switchback.

  5. Just came across your channel, subbed immediately. Well done review, this is going to replace the 5.11 version of this that I currently have that is much more basic. Looking forward to going through your videos and see what is to come. Genuinely impressed with your production quality that I felt impelled to become what I usually hate; someone who comments on youtube videos. Cheers- A rookie cop in OR.

  6. I use this same holster with my Fenix UC35. Works great as long as I put the pocket clip towards my body. Gets loose otherwise. I do wish it wasn't quite so bulky but it does the job.

  7. Loving your channel. Fuzzfam sent me here! Quick question, how often during shift do you keep it locked vs unlocked? Any issues with it falling out in the car or when bending/kneeling?  Thanks!

  8. Starting to fear this channel…there aren’t enough holidays to gift give hubby new gear/bags lol Guess Arbor Day will have to be serious business around here!!!

  9. Alright so you’re an Officer/Deputy, that automatically tells me I can trust you. With that being said I went and ordered this. It is now in my current EDC. This is a TAD BIT bulky, however this is absolutely amazing. It is easy to use and maneuver around the belt. I too have a Strion and I didn’t want to go buy a holder in basketweave or nylon and only be able to use it for one purpose. This is universal so it’s perfect for being on duty, going on ride alongs, or even just carrying it as an EDC item. You were the first person on YouTube to do a review on this in English and have it to where we can understand you and also get that review we need. Thank you Officer/Deputy and as always stay safe out there. ⚫️🔵⚫️

  10. Thanks a lot for the video. I’ve been looking at this holster for a long time. Euro Security Products out of the Czech Republic makes one just like it or maybe they are the original designers. Anyway. Hopefully it fits my Nitecore SRT6 it’s my favorite light for my current duties.

  11. Excellent video! Thank you so much for doing this. Every video I looked at was in another language. You’re the first person to do a review on this who speaks English. One question I have is you being an Officer do you think this is too bulky to have the flashlight in when carrying it daily? I’d love to get his for my EDC but I’m just curious do you think it’s too bulky? Usually I just have the Strion in my back pocket.
