Best AR-15 Build in the World

You don’t need and probably shouldn’t spend ANY money on the stuff I show in this TNP AR-15 build video. Truth is the rack grade value AR will serve most LE and civilian users just fine…most ARs have achieved very high levels of quality and reliability with acceptable accuracy. And most people add dumb weight to their AR builds if and when they do modify them…without adding any more capability (watch Not here. If you do decide that your needs call for a custom, built-by-you AR-15 then you are in the right place. This build is a combination SPR upper and CQB AR-15 upper matched to one lower. Your POU will determine which one you pushpin into place.

This build combo addresses engagements from 0 to 600 yds; the CQB AR weighs under 5 lbs, the SPR under 8 lbs. And that’s will an 18” barrel, mid-length gas system. Brands I used in this higher end build are Battlecomp, Bravo Company, Odinworks, Midwest Industries, Mag Tactical, Freedom Reaper, Rock River, AeroPrecision, AR Gold, Mission First, Magpul, Cerakote, Griffin, Leupold, Aimpoint, Strike Industries, and more. The unwaivering TNP tenet of SAWC is applied in the build. With technologies progressing, things may change on my preferred components but I remain happy with the ones shown and rec’d here. Often dudes will engage in the “lightness game” where the ultimate goal is the absolute lightest possible. They take pride in outdoing other builds in terms of lightness; perhaps a fun project but kind of ridiculous. The weight levels given in the video are realistic and will serve you well; remember the foundations discussed in the vdeo. Super light guns wonder all over the place and are harder to shoot well.

Again a standard factory produced AR-15 like the S&W M&P15 Sport or Ruger AR-556 will serve you well. It will last well beyond your limited ammo supply. Leave it completely unmodified, put on an optic, and enjoy your savings of time and money. But if you want 2nd Cool and things to be just right for you, this video might give you some direction. At this moment in time, it’s the world’s best AR-15 build…at least for me.

  1. +nutnfancy love your videos please keep them up, I have started my first build or "franken-rifle" if you will, and now I'm just looking for a bolt carrier group to finish it off. I'm using an anderson upper and lower receiver with a 16 inch barrel from ballistic advantage 1/7 twist (not pencil barrel) mid west industries 12 inch m-lok rail, VG6 gamma 556 comp, bcm gunfighter charging handle, daniel defense stock and grip furniture. Trying to keep it simple and light weight, i might be looking into a small red dot optic after finding a bolt carrier group. Again I love your videos and the depth of detail you go into with the amount of time you spend on your videos, please keep them coming. I'm open to any suggestions or recommendations.

  2. Question, I have an lwrc m6A2 cerakoted in patriot brown. The only thing added to it is an trijicon acog but its a quad rail and kinda heavy. I have been told to leave it alone verse switching the rail up with something slimmer. What is your opinion on changing some of the lwrc factory additions for something more personal. The other option is building another ar.

  3. i sold my $2,000.00 ar15 build last month for $1,000.00 with over 5,000 rounds through it… idk if i got jipped, but i sure know i miss my fucking monster of a rifle. i'm going to go pick up 2 stripped lowers this morning and starting all over, going to do one tactical ass ar, and then i'm going to do an oldschool m16 clone with modern parts.

  4. Best rack grade Imop… If you can find one that someone doesn't think is a collector item lol… Is the first production M&P's.. (Not the sports or the F series) 4 digit serials or lower.. I have one my father has a 3 digit serial lol.. And I've talk to a few others.. They are 3/4 moa out the box and 1k then maybe 12-1300 now. (Think I paid 890 out the door for mine) I've refused to modify mine more then some hardware cause it's that good. And they are 14" pinned so not even true 16" barrels.. Just something for those who want a box gun w maybe some magpul hardware to toss around and beat on for cheap. Only downside is it is a 1:9 barrel but 3/4" groups surplus ammo who cares about shooting 77g? Not gonna be a tack driver at 600 mind you but not bad out 300.

  5. Being someone who is in the market for buying a rifle to fit this use of an AR15 it can be intimidating when doing research on an AR15. Everywhere I look on the Internet where guys are talking about AR15'S there is little consistency. I almost don't want to buy an AR15 because of that.

  6. Thank you so much for all your effort! Ton of info! Thanks for just plainly given what works for you! I am new to the AR-15 world and just did the simple PSA AR build under $700. I am now looking to upgrade to possibly Daniel Defense DDM4 V11 or V11 Pro line. Honestly, I am just looking to buy it as is and spend around $1,500.00 – $2,000.00.

Any input on DD or another manufacture? I do not do all the running and gunning you do, not even close. Any insight, I would appreciate it. Regards.

  7. Good video so far. I evolved in pieces and parts upgrades for function and reliability, and when new and better things came to fruition with technology, I stepped up. That being said, my AR-15 evolved into the Tavor, with all the upgrades it has. Only 2 left, and one is on the way. I suggest you do a review of the AR-15 Odin Works Atlas Recoil Compensator. From the boobtube reviews and slow-mo, it is way awesome brake. The second is a folding charging handle from gearheadworks, but it is never in stock. The Tavor as you know has that honking charging handle sticking out. I'm not fond of it, as you dont use it often anyway.

  8. Odenworks just sold me some barrels. Their service is excellent, and the product is awesome. I am waiting for my 223 Wylde Barrel 16.1" Mid Length ULTRALIGHT!

Thanks for the video, it changed my whole philosophy on my armament and systems.
