  1. Funny I had mine a week and didn't know about the high mode. Lol. Now it's even cooler. I have the double clutch, station, stinger and multiple pocket pen lights . All by streamlight . I saw this one on snap on tool truck I had to have it. But I didn't have time to mess with it yet except on the job still the low mode is bright too. Good day good review

  2. This is an absolutely perfect EDC pocket light, its amazing in build, super bright (yes it can be a couple tries to get on high, but bump click seems to work better then two tap momentary) I love this and it really shows the worth of streamlight as a brand and their value per dollar, it is way up there. The only thing, and I think a lot of people haven't realized this is that AAA batteries WILL NOT WORK, because it's designed to run the 10440 it has under voltage protection so you don't kill the battery, anything under 2.8 or so and it isn't lighting up. I ordered so.e extra 10440s efest 350s have gone through all the tests that I could find as the best, some said soshine, but it appears to be the two to trust. I am dumbfounded and maybe now it will change but the fact that no major brand has a 10440 is crazy to me. Panasonic where you at? Energizer? Hello? But the battery that comes with the microstream is great, it's just good to have backups, even though the fact its usb and virtualy charge anywhere by it makes that a non issue, truth be told I am also just plain lumen searching by getting different batteries to try against the provided one. Either way, streamlight is one top of their game and I cant wait to get a bigger backpack carry light and a pink protac breast cancer foundation one for the wife!

  3. Great review. I own 2 of the original aaa ones, and one is 28 lumens and the other is 35 lumens. But I was using the 14500 batteries with success. But being a flashaholic I moved on to another, and another, etc. Lol.

  4. i dont think it has 10 tap so you can make it high only.

good to know they are finally shipping!

i feel like these are worthy upgrades but hope they continue to sell the non usb microstream as well. its one of my favorite lights with a 10440 in it and definitely good for up close tasks and good runtime on eneloops or non rechargeables
