In this video we take an initial first look at the new CMMG Mk3 rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, shooting from 100 yards out to 600 yards at various targets to see what this rifle and caliber is all about. We will be doing more with the Mk3 in the future with a variety of factory ammo as well as handload development to wring the full potential out of this setup. Stay tuned, much more on the way.

  2. Choose 6.5 Creedmore because it costs a lot more than other rounds that outperform it, or come close to it. Sure it's hard to find but that is what makes it special! Sure it might be better than a .308, but forget about all those other rounds that already exist.

  3. Umm am I the only one who has been waiting for part 2? He did say they wanted to take it to the tower!! Just saying. I love the creedmoor I have a bolt action 6.5creedmoor beautiful tack driver. I wouldn't mind seeing the 6mmcreedmoor or the 6.5 lapua! Come on guys please bring the 6.5creedmoor out to stretch her legs

  4. Just wondering as I am contemplating 6.5 Creedmoor or .308 in semi-auto AR platform, but I have seen many videos of 6.5 Creedmoor taking game such as an elk at 600 yards and other larger game with relative ease. So my question is why you would only consider this for more of a varmint gun? Honest question as I am trying to make an informed decision. And I would prefer to stay away from the SHTF comments as my .22 and 556 will be the guns for that unlikely event lol. Thanks for the info from the group in advance!

  5. It reminds me of The Truman Show when his wife would just spat off an ad right in the middle of life. Like I said with me and my buddies go shooting we don't have our ammo boxes perfectly facing the camera and so forth. I mean I get it it's all a marketing scheme. And Eric and Chad seem like a great group of guys. Hell I'd hang out with them any day of the week. I'm just saying the more you watch some of these videos the more you can see that they're just one big giant commercial

  6. The more videos I watch about shooting the more I realize these are just glorified commercials. I mean seriously will me and my boys go shooting I don't have the box of black ammo facing the camera perfectly. I guess in this day and age of marketing everybody got to make a buck. I'm not hating I'm just saying I'm catching onto it

  7. Good video but the caliber is unnecessary to say the least. Just trying to change things up for the sake of images. The 308 is much better at everything across the board.

  8. it would be nice if you could explain the different barrels, forging ,linings, coatings, thickness and shapes? And when you should think about upgrading? Let me know what you think? That would make for a very informative video! Thanks and cheers my 2a brothers!

  9. 5.56 is not a viable round any longer in the modern battlefield. The 6.5 is the perfect range between the 5.56 and the 7.62. The Military will have to be forced into changing just like they had to do in the 60s when Washington forced them to choose a new battle rifle.
