Bushmaster AR-15: First Impressions

cnn keeps saying bushmaster ar15 was used in sandy hook, when it wasn't used he used a handgun, the rifle was found later in a car to whoever wants to know

Bushmaster = JUNK!

You should have done some research and bought a proper built, good quality AR…….Good luck with it.

Please tell me. While hunting with this model. How accurate is it while tracing deer, wolves, and my local bank guards? An answer would be much appreciated

most definitely one of the Brest ar15 I can't think of any other company that solely builds ar m16 than bushmmaster I think the craftsmanship and quality of material sets them apart they are the best and today I don't Care about the bells and whistles people spend on brands that are new to the game what matters is quality material basic sound function of the rifle and getting the most proficiency out of the design

Bought my Bushmater AR in 1995 for $700. Still love it! Haven't changed much.

What did u pay? I got a brand new windham Mpc for $650, also if u put a scope it won't interfere with front sight post.

I have a Bushmaster Carbon 15 I bought a few years back…never had a problem with it.

got a Bushmaster carbine today for $700.00 out the door with iron sights,Cant wait to put some rounds in it!!!

Ar 15 m16 all are prone to over heating the gun was not designed to put out a sustained rate of fire

Never had a problem with my bushmaster AR-15-And she never had a problem with me. Know and love your weapons. I am a bigamous. I am married to all my weapons.Most individuals I found who had problems with any bushmaster product did not understand the operational procedure of their weapon. Know and understand your weapon. I wouldn't worry about the overheating, I've seen a torture test of a GI rifle that fired until the handguard caught on fire and barrel turned red.

I have the same rifle and the Windham Weaponry version…but I have them both in HBar which made them cash & carry vs a 7 day waiting period like hand guns which is how it works in my state (stripped receiver have the 7 day wait too but HBars don't…moron politicians). Anyway…besides being cash & carry you can do 100 round mag dumps without melting the barrel. I love these rifles…they are super sweet. I also put a $1000 into the WW-15 and $1200 into the XM-15. Geissele SD3G Triggers ROCK!

barrel alright! We shoot in Vietnam for 20 years..so worry free! I like the rear sight of A1..A2 keep move around! Gun designer doing bad job right here and blue print keep pasted to many company machine shops without any from inspector….MISTAKE made right on the first days of productions!! The murderer reportedly had a Bushmaster AR15 present, I'm not sure exactly what model. The last report I heard was that the AR was found in his vehicle (not used) and he used Glock and Sig handguns for the murders. As more facts come out we may see that the rifle was used but I don't know at this time.

It was a horrible tragedy for our nation. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and families.
