Looking for serious illumination in a weapon light? In this video, I test and review the Streamlight TLR-1 HP-X, a high-power tactical light designed for long-range visibility. We’ll cover key features, specs, runtime, beam pattern, and real-world performance to see if it’s worth adding to your setup.

✅ Key Features:
-1,000+ lumen output with high candela beam
-Fits most full-size handguns and long guns
-Durable, lightweight, and water-resistant design
-Easy ambidextrous controls
-Long-range hotspot for target identification

I’ll also compare it to other lights in the Streamlight lineup so you can decide if the TLR-1 HP-X is the right choice for you. Whether for home defense, duty use, or range days, this light packs serious performance.

  1. To my eye, the TLR-1 HL-X looks like the best option in this video. It still looks just as bright in the center as the HP-X, but adds a lot more peripheral light as well. I'd only be using this on my 10mm for bear country, so I would want to see more of the surrounding area as well. Thanks for the demo!
