Tgis is why BUIS are so important to have. Even if it’s just a front sight (obviously both woukd be better) is better than only having an optic and LAM then having them or the optic go down. I love optics and especially the nice ones like Eotech, Aimpoint etc etc but it’s hard to beat having BUIS just in case. I have a cousin who got a used 512 or similar model (tge long Eotech style) and you can barely see the reticle even with a brand new battery. I own multiple XPS3 & EXPS3 and while I understand the reticle isn’t perfect it’s definitely not dim like his is. Anyone know what the problem is with a dim Eotech 512?
