What is PRK?
Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) is a laser eye surgery that corrects refractive errors like nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hypermetropia), and astigmatism. It reshapes the cornea, allowing light to focus properly on the retina for clear vision.
At Shroff Eye Centre, we offer Streamlight PRK, an advanced form of PRK which uses only the Wavelight excimer laser (aka “contoura laser”) to remove the top layer of the cornea and correct its shape.
