In my country (population 11 million), there are roughly 400,000 (legal) gun owners. About half of these shooters are demonstrably trained to the standard of regular infantry, and about 40,000 are trained to the standard of elite combat units. That is a relatively large combat force, and this is a major problem for the government’s progressive, left-wing neoliberals, as they are well aware of what would happen if politicians truly ran amok. That is why there is constant pressure in our country for gradual disarmament and the discrediting of legal gun owners. They subliminally portray us as violent criminals and psychopaths, even though we are the most law-abiding and decent segment of our country.

AR-15 is not an assault rifle and it is grossly negligent for a company that touts it self as a 2A supporter to label itself as such given the current political climate involving firearms. You can use a .03 cal air rifle designed for hunting to "assault" an enemy position but that still doesnt make it an assault rifle.
