  1. Heads up, a lot of comments/buyers are saying most of the new HF TL1s have a different form factor and thus may not work with your TLR1 holster.
    Buyer beware.

And yes, HF paid me in buckets to make this video

  2. I got mine with a 40% discount coupon and put it on my G19. Works great! I can’t see a logical reason for the casual/home defense user to spend any more than what this light costs.

  3. I have the Streamlight TLR-1 1,000 lumen weapon light. Yes, i laid $150 for it about 6 years ago. I dont know if I would skimp on the price and buy Harbor Freight to depend my life on. My life is worth more than what Harbor Freight charges.

  4. Hey Hop, my Nightstick TWM-850XL only has a high function. No low, no strobe. Just wanted to let you know.
Its also the same footprint as a surefire (unsure of which specific modle as of right now)

  5. I have this light on my echelon duty pistol with over 1500 rounds and it still works just as good as when I got it. I put I tiny bit of Vaseline on my light before I shoot so I can easily wipe off the carbon build up

  6. Cant' beat it for $60 other than the fact that it is way to bright for indoor use. Light bouncing off the walls will blind you as much as the person you're pointing it at.

  7. I'm sure I'll be flamed for this but I really enjoy my olight baldr s. Simple, compact, rechargeable, good battery life. Laser + flashlight which I think lasers are better than optics (fight me) on a pistol. Only downside is since it's not really popular (neither is my model pistol) finding holsters to fit it has been difficult. Finally did recently tho thankfully (+ I'm a leftie shooter so that made it even harder)

  8. love how the rail miting lug on the standard one says 1913 for its interfeace but the harbor freight one has a noticibly smaller lug and just sys GL like "Good Luck"

  9. I bought one about 5 months ago and have carried it in my motorhome ever since…..I have used it numerous times to check "noises in the woods", while boondocking and have zero complaints!
If I was a LEO, or military, I would probably make a bigger investment, but for intermittent use, they are fine!….That's MY 2 cents worth anyway!….Just sayin'!

  10. I’d love to know what simple tech BRAUN uses for their flashlights because all their flashlights suck the life out of batteries faster than a funny sexually explicit prostitute relations example of something that sucks fast and hard. And it’s fucking irritating. Flashlight should employ a mechanical switch that when slid off actually physically breaks the batteries connection to the slutty insides of a flashlight.

  11. I have one on my P10C Ported for my primary top of the nightstand gun. I put it in my range rotation so about every six weeks I’ll run rounds through it and so far, after a few trips, I haven’t had any problems. I do have two TLR7 X and TLR7 Sub and they are great but for me I don’t know if I would spend that much again for what I use them for. I’m too old to be going out after it gets dark out so the Harbor Freight is enough for me at home and if I had to do it all over again, I would’ve bought two HF lights and be done with it. I have heard complaints that even though they are securely tightened on the rail the body of the light still feels loose and they are correct but the movement is so minimal you have to push the issue to notice it. I’ve heard a sliver of electrical tape on the mounting tab eliminates any movement, but I haven’t tried it. I’m good with the way it is. Okay, after writing this I’m going to pick up another one….lol.
