  1. Anyone count how many times bros voice cracked?

Great video. My first AR is currently being built. I did a Franken build because I really loved Radians lower but hated their handguard. I am very much a buy once cry once and fortunately I can afford to buy higher end parts that will last me longer. My opinion is save your money up and buy quality. you can do well with a sub $1k rifle but sometimes paying more you get what you pay for. Also, if you havent already pay attention to Primary Arms as they have great sales. I saved a few hundred bucks because I built it during their Easter sales event and they had every part I had researched and decided that I wanted on sale at the same time. It was a good feeling and I was able to save some bucks.

  2. Your first AR should be a minimum of a BCM or a Giessele. Spend 1500, and you’ll never have to worry. If you. UN a cheap one, inevitably you’ll want something “ good”, just buy once cry once.

  3. This has to be ragebait. 1, a shotgun as a first purchase isn't bad. Just because he doesn'tuse his doesn't mean it's not good for him. 2, the AR he bought totally could've been modified. And I run a LVPO on an AR with a FSP. 100% doable. 3rd mistake he made was valid. I'll give him that.

  4. No mistakes here. My first AR-15 is the first generation Springfield Armory Saint Free-float (yes, that's the model name). I later converted the upper receiver to a 14.5" SBR. Since then I've bought a few more SA Saint models and also swapped the barrel for a shorter barrel.

  5. Va resident here. Just panic bought my first AR earlier this month when Spamburger signed a plethora of incredibly restrictive gun control because I expect local prices to skyrocket, and they kinda have. A DB-15 5.56 that came with a separate .300BLK upper (with no BCG or charging handle). Then had a lefty lower built this past weekend after doing a bunch of research I should have done first, with an FRT. The 5.56 upper went on that, other upper on the DB lower, there's a BCG sitting next to me for the .300blk waiting for a Radian charging handle to show up tomorrow to put on the 5.56 so I can put the milspec charging handle on the .300blk. Two more FRT on the way and an e-mail out to the guy that built my lefty rifle lower for a price on another one with no buffer tube, because reasons. And a left side eject upper and BCG on the way from KAK.

Research, research, research. I've probably wasted $600 on shit I won't use. I don't even think I'll ever buy ammo for the .300blk, but it'll be in the safe anyways. Still need to decide on an optic for it. lol

  6. I bought a separate upper and lower from PSA, 16" upper and lower base level. It runs like a damn champ, cost $430 and shipping. My name is there if you want more details. The barrier entry is low for a decent rifle.

  7. Hey boss I just recently bought a PSA PA 15. I bought it for about $490 after all the fees and tax off of a bid on gunbroker. I’ve been trying to do more research on AR 15’s and just yesterday I went to PSA and shot a Sabre. I really like how the sabre shot and would like to know if there’s a way I can upgrade my PA 15 into a Sabre. The folks over at PSA told me I can just buy a Sabre upper receiver and change the AR buffer system and the trigger as well. What would be your recommendations? I’m a USMC Vet and I’m recently just getting into firearms due to me being stationed overseas. Thank you for your time.

  8. I built a 7.5" 300blk arp for my first ar. It came out to look how I wanted, but it was expensive to shoot and it wasn't as functional as I'd hoped. Now it's a 556 16" rifle and I enjoy distance shooting much more. I still have the pistol upper, just in case I wanna swap it out at the range since it's easy enough.

  9. I bought two pccs and a shotgun (also some pistols) before my first AR 15. Being entirely new to guns, was just too intimidated by the platform. But after watching numerous videos, I finally made the decision. It didn't hurt that the deal was just too good to pass up.

Now eyeing next AR 15 rifle when the funds are available.
