Last week, the Governor’s office introduced an addition to the supplemental budget that would repeal the ban on Sunday hunting in Massachusetts as well as expand access to archery hunting opportunities. Please take a moment to click the TAKE ACTION button below to contact your representatives and respectfully ask them to SUPPORT these sections of the Supplemental Budget.

Sections 50 through 59 of H.D. 6042 include:

  • Repealing the ban on Sunday hunting.
  • Decreasing setbacks for archery hunting with respect to roadways and dwellings, which significantly increases hunting opportunities.
  • Allowing the use of crossbows for all hunters during archery season.

The supplemental budget is supported by MassWildlife as well-established means to improve wildlife management.
