Great video! You mentioned exactly the parts/problems that needed to be addressed to make that caliber work in an AR. Unfortunately the Mutant was to expensive for a guy like me. I had plenty of AR parts laying around to built a basic AR in that caliber, using a more protruding firing pin, a stronger hammer spring, H2 Buffer. Using special curved AR 7.62×39 mags gives you even the last round bolt opening feature like an AR 15. Still on my first bolt, semi auto use only. Great hunting caliber. Thanks for the video.

Overpriced. Helpful to remember people Saiga's when they came in back when were like $250 …………… AFI that is $400-425-ish dollars in today's money. Magpul stock and A rail added lets call it $700-750 OTD with transfer fee and taxes. Not $1300-1700

Yeah I had to watch this one, I love the caliber an own an AR , an 2 Sks's in it, wouldn't mind this one to. But I was raised on 30 cal anything, take your pick of those, mainly for hunting tho in my book. You ought to try some brass cased bougie ammo, my AR likes Hornady SST's 123 gr, no steel cased ammo tho, but it's a hunting gun to, so theresthat also.

Good video. BR stands for boomer rifle. That's from the cmmg engineer who developed it.
I wish Geissele, DD, SOLGW would make their own version of the Dissent. A 4150 hammer forged chrome lined barrel.
Tested for hard use and otb.
