  1. im calling this allBS how can you clean a gun with out looking to see if there anything in it be for you do it i think he did not want the kid are it ws not his kid trying to get rid of the kid i hear this all the time and im usually right i can read people and i know when they are lying when someone lying to me i knoe it i just dot say anything i need to hear his sis side of the story then ill know if he telling the truth are not

  2. As a responsible gun owner especially with children present, shouldn’t it come natural to clear the weapon first before doing anything let alone pointing at your child’s direction and pulling the trigger?

  3. lol. “Shall not be infringed.” You sure about that? ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT? So many cracks to slip through for this to happen. Happy to pry that gun from this failed father’s cold dead hands.

  4. 1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
    2. Keep the gun pointed in the safest possible direction.
    3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
    4. Know your target, its surroundings, and beyond.

Man! This is so sad 😢💔😢 My heart aches 💔💔💔💔 I don't clean my firearm in the presence of others.

  5. Reminds me of the parent that accidentally runs over their kid in the driveway while backing up. Obviously the only evidence needed to prohibit cars for EVERYONE.

  6. Cleaning the rifle but not knowing there was a round in the chamber…..so he just pulls the trigger? He's either severely lying or severely negligent which means it's probably both, but labeling it "accidental" is a stretch.

  7. No, he was not cleaning it. Dad was being an idiot and ended up shooting his kid. Every gun owner in the world will tell you that you have to unload the gun before you can clean it. Anyone who claims they were cleaning their gun and it "went off" is lying about what happened.

  8. This guy broke multiple, if not all the firearms safety rules. VERIFY THET THE WEAPON IS UNLOADED. Treat EVERY weapon as if it were loaded. Never point the muzzle at anything that you are not willing to destroy. O ow what is beyond your target. KEEP YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT. A very negligent discharge. This is why the rules MUST be strictly followed.

  9. So much stupidity and negligence. Honestly father needs have firearms removed for life. If you can’t abide by the firearms cardinal rules you shouldn’t have one. So lucky the kid was only grazed and didn’t hit anyone else.

  10. They always got an excuse baked into the headlines when the perpetrator is white!!!! 👨🏼 Who cleans a loaded gun?
Media coverage frequently appears to frame white perpetrators with implicit justification within the headlines. "Accidentally?”
