With only three legislative days remaining—Friday, March 27; Tuesday, March 31; and Thursday, April 2 (Sine Die)—Senate Bill 499 is currently in the Rules Committee and eligible to be placed on the House floor calendar. Please use the Take Action button below to contact House members and urge them to bring SB 499 to the floor for a vote before the session adjourns.
SB 499 would remove firearm suppressors from the list of dangerous weapons and eliminate state-level penalties for mere possession. Suppressors would remain subject to strict federal regulation under the National Firearms Act.
