NRA-ILA | Ohio: Senate Passes Suppressor Legislation

Yesterday, The Senate passed SB 214 by a vote of 31-1, legislation to remove firearm suppressors from the definition of “dangerous ordnance” in the Ohio Revised Code. This legislation now goes to the house where it will receive a committee assignment.

SB 214 would amend sections 1533.04, 2923.11, and 2923.17 of the Revised Code to remove firearm mufflers and suppressors from the classification of dangerous ordnance under state law.
