Just picked up a Radical firearm .556 NATO from my local gun shop for 500…it was on sale regular price for it was 700. Going to take it to the range and run a few mags through it to see where I’m upgrading

My wife and I finally got to shoot ours yesterday. Had an absolute blast shooting this thing. We both hit our targets 1st shot. So much fun for not that much $$$. Spent 430 on the rifle and 120 on a green dot optic. 550 for a ar15 with an optic is mind blowing 🤯

I have one of these- what would you do as far as your first upgrades go for making it a little better? I know it'll never be a high end rifle but I'd like to use it as a platform to learn to build different platforms.
I have 4+ years with 2 16inch 556, 18inch 223 snd 2 16inch 300bo rifles. I would certainly recomend RF as a starter but would also suggest BCM first!

I enjoyed viewing a decent review of this Radical Arms entrry level 5.56 rifle; is there a follow up shooter review of its accuracy at 50 yds,100 yds,150 or 200 yds? I was perusing either a 5.56 AR-15 or a PCC (AR-9) but this unit at its modest price point appears to be a winner.

Radical has started in house production and upped the quality control. My 7.5” arp has 23 at the start of the serial numbers, which represents the year it was built. Which also tells you it’s within the recent years (of better production and QC) so that explains why people are having better luck with the newer models they’ve created

Yup got this one in 300 blackout. I've shot many a feral hogs. I did upgrade the trigger and safety. Still worth while and gets the job done. I think I'm about 200 rounds in.

I love Radicals but the only thing that I dislike are the screws they use to tighten down the rail, which losens from time to time.
Would you recommend this for a zombie apocalypse or should I spring for a higher brand?
