Aero Precision Enhanced handguard Stag Arm upper upgrade progress

After finding my Stag barrel was out of spec and standard .750 had way too much room to use I picked up a YHM clamp .750 gas block. The clamp style allowed enough flexibility to provide a solid seal. Down side to this was the screws that secure the gas block stick out enough to impact narrower handguards. After reviewing my options (Seekins, Aero Precision Enhanced and Midwest), I decided on the Aero Precision Enhanced handguard to finish up this handguard upgrade.

  1. These enhanced hand guards are easier to mount to the upper but they’re wider and heavier than the Atlas and especially Atlas S. M5 upper 14oz + 15” Atlas S 8.71oz = 22.71oz. M5E1 upper 18.22oz + 15” Enhanced hand guard 11.3oz = 29.52oz.
