And I thought a build of $2K-$3K was something rather wild…
Mine is just a Ruger AR-556, w/ a Geissele Super Modular MK16 (15") forend, Geissele Maritime bolt-release, Black Rain Ordinance low-profile gasblock, ERGO Tactical Deluxe grip, Unity vertical foregrip (the shorty one), B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock, Fortis K2 System locking lever castle nut w/ Q.D. mount, & a ScalarWorks LEAP mount for an EoTech EXPS that can have the ScalarWorks 1.57" EoTech G43 mount attached to it (which is the plan).
I know she isn't finished yet, but she's almost there once I can afford an EoTech for her, as least then she'll be useable instead of just using my thumb knuckle as a point of aim.😅🤣😭
She is looking really good though, & I intend on getting more for her one day, the main thing for her now is the EoTech & also the ScalarWorks flip-up irons for my sights, & also a good sling which may be from Magpul or Blue Force Alpha gear or whatever they're called (& a few more mags & some more ammo for said mags).
Eventually she'll be my dream AR-15 that'll be able to cover anything & everything, sorta' like a "jack of all trades," ya' know.
I really like the configuration
Recently I have been going through a rough patch and this whole time God has been putting out remidners that He is here with me. This is just another one of those times. Just curious why you wouldn’t run the HK MR556 A4 upper if you’re already in the 13k range? Is the PWS really worth it as the base for all of that gear?
I have the MI Mk1 scope mount for my SAI 6 on the MCX Virtus. I actually prefer the RH levers since the FCD CH on the MCX really needs clean access for my left hand as a righty.
