  1. I wish these people would give options not just say this is better. PA and vortex are similar in price one offers a much better warranty. Monstrum (spelling) or other cheap ones are fine for the average gun owner(shots a few times a year). Hell burris offers a cheap one that is simple in control and use at a price that is better than PA.

  2. I'm ashamed that I am liking an $80 Amazon Scope over my Primary Arms/Vortex. Like I feel pretty damn dirty man. The glass is pretty nice, but the eye box/relief just blows it away. Also daylight bright fiber reticle..

That Chinesium Aimsharp 1-4 LVPO should not be on par with a Vortex Venom 1-6's glass lmao. Eye relief and eye box is insanely forgiving too. I was insanely skeptical but I can't find anything to really hate besides it having a simple hunting reticle.

It's on par with the Venom 1-6/Crossfire HD's quality.

I usually just go with PA/Vortex, you can't really beat the warranty/CS.

The new Vortex Crossfire HD Line is a huge step up over the Crossfire II line. Like the Crossfire II line felt pretty cheap, the anodizing was more like a glossy paint. Glass was not the best.

The Vortex Venom 1-6 is great, it's making the Strike Eagle obsolete at that price point imo. Watched a couple C_Does videos on it. There are also some FOV/Glass comparisons.

Vortex is killing it with this new generation of scopes.

The Sig Buckmaster line is pretty damn good for the money. I really miss the Nikon Buckmaster line, but the Sig is pretty close for Chinese Glass.

My only complaint about the Sig MSR series is the reticle and the weight. You get a lot of bang for the buck though with the included mount.

As for Primary Arms I am a fan, but found the eyebox on my 2 ACSS Nova scopes are kind of restrictive. It isn't bad on an AR but if used on a Bolt Action/Lever Gun it because apparent.

Hawke Scopes are pretty nice. Mainly if you want a 1-4×20 LVPO that only weighs 11-12 oz. The fiber reticle is red dot bright and has very forgiving eye relief/eye box. Great for a PCC/Lever Gun/Shorter AR. It's a good replacement for the now discontinued Leupold 1-4×20 illuminated scope.

  3. Ive had a monstrum for about 6 years and I've ran that thing in the ground used it on my ar and my marlin 45-70 and its still a laser beam, I've been more than impressed with its performance

  4. I have a monstrum ladon 1-6 coming in tomorrow, I’m not a scope guy just thought I’d send it and look through it to see the clarity/glass before putting it on my AR (also cheap) I just wanted something to throw on my AR that had magnification, the rifle didn’t come with sights, just a CTS red dot (haven’t heard high praise) so it was between that and the $100 3-9Xs if the monstrum is more clear than a condensated bottle, and holds zero i will be happy, will update

  5. Almost all lpvos are too big to be on ar15s. The PA PLXC and the night force nx8 are the ideal size for lpvos on ar15s. The March Shorty 1-10. Outside of those 3, everything else is too big.
