Appreciate the content from CF. I was wondering if you guys are familiar with Silent Steel Suppressors and how would you rank them. They claim to stay cooler than a lot of competitors with less gas blow back.
Why would anyone pay $1,000 for a tube with washers inside of it. The stupidity is mind boggling.
What was that suppressor on the Beretta M9A4… which seemed really quiet.
Because there were so many varieties, I would love to hear about the inexpensive offerings…

The Offgrid silencers are NOT NEW and they are most certainly not blowing anyone's minds. They are good silencers, and they have solid performance, but they are nowhere near the best or the most interesting. No offense, but besides Strategic Sciences, this list is really not doing justice to the other companies that are pushing the envelope of silencer design. You should be showcasing the companies that are legitimately cutting edge and moving the whole industry forward.
Companies like CAT, and I would say Stealth Additive Works, but they weren't at Shot Show. Echocore would also probably count in terms of sheer performance alone (even though they are really big and heavy)
Also stop shilling for Q, they haven't made a worthwhile silencer since the Full Nelson, and even that has been surpassed
Insane that you guys don't mention the new silencers from CAT, like the Super Thug or the AKB. CAT was at Shot Show

Skeptical on the ambient arms claims. It seems constantly refilling the blast chamber with ambient air would cause never ending FRP. It seems like snake oil, can’t wait for someone to cut it open.
