On Wednesday, January 7, the Assembly Committee on State Affairs will hold a public hearing on Assembly Bill 609, legislation allowing for permitless concealed carry in Wisconsin. Please use the Take Action button below to contact members of the Assembly Committee on State Affairs and urge their support for AB 609.

AB 609, introduced by Rep. Chanz Green, recognizes your right to carry a concealed firearm for self-defense without seeking government permission by eliminating the requirement that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit. The bill still preserves the option to obtain a permit, allowing licensees to carry a concealed firearm in other states that require licensure.
