Not to beat a dead horse but I think they sold you the wrong barrel LOL. It might be listed as 556 and actually be 300. I've seen that happen a couple other times with different firearms, not radical necessarily. It's super rare but hey, maybe they'll send you the correct barrel if that's the case and you'll get to keep this one as well

Got an ar pistol running a sico 36m can and did the same to a few rounds and on some others it bent the casing towards the projectile and on 2 it pushed the projectile into the case also broke the charging handle all under 250 rounds all suppressed

Go PSA or Daniel Defense. The latter is pricey, but worth it IMO. You might have to dick with the feed ramp to the chamber. Might also be an over pressured feeder spring in your magazine.

I have 2 radicals both multi caliber 556/223 they are a budget rifle and the cheaper ones do need work but once you figure out your problem fix it and break it in it’ll run like any other ar the only problem I had with mine was the hammer had a burr from factory and didn’t let the trigger reset but a easy $8 fix on palmetto and 1000 rounds later no issues not even a malfunction

Stick your pinky in the barrel (after safety check of course) and see if it goes down in there. If it does, you may have tried to run a 556 in a 300 aac. That looks about 30 cal to me. 😆

Seems to be cut out of Spec. Must’ve been made at 4:58pm on a Friday. Radical will make it right. They are good company. I’ve literally sold hundreds of these and have seen very few issues compared to some of the other guys out there selling in the same price point.

Stop using the metal mag it came with, buy magpul mags. The only problems I had with my radical 556 was with the metal magazine

Super tight chamber I would guess, probably a couple thousands out of spec.

Radicals aren’t super quality but they’re not shit. i’ve sold enough of them without them coming back with issues. Wouldn’t hurt to contact Radical and ask for a new barrel.
