KMOD is so 1990’s just get the MR762A4 which has MLOK rail and lifetime warranty on the barrel. Also don’t cheap out on your optics get a Schmidt Bender PMII 6 -36 X 56 in Ral8000. I still prefer my FDE Belgium Scar 17 in 6.5 Creedmore but I do own an MR556A4 and switched almost everything except the lower to Ral8000.

I know many of you find this very expensive and crap on it, but it's currently the best battle rifle in the world. Battle rifle in my and most other definitions is 308 or 7.62 caliber rifle. I never thought I own, but someone sold one off consignment locally and I'm very happy I bought it. The accuracy, ambi ar controls, high quality magazines that don't stick way out, HK quality and reliability, how well this rifle shoots 308, it's amazing. Sure I love AR 308s, FAL, G3, and probably B&T if they become cheaper more widely used, but this rifle the best and is attainable. I would like 25 round magazine.
