Eye patch for real?
Thanks, this really helped
Wow! I never even knew my lpvo had this and I read the instructions over and over again. The scope caps were covering the dial soon as I took them off it was almost all the way backed out. Dialed it back and crystal clear sight again! Thank you sir I thought I was going blind in one eye 😅
Anyone Have The Issue Of The Cross hair Being Blurry When Magnified? I Set My Vortex Crossfire II 6-24×50 Set To About 14 And Front Focus Has Been Set However No Matter What I Do To The Cross hair Focus, It Is Always Blurry. I Can Focus On The Cross Hair With My Eye And It's Clear But If I Look At Target It Blurs Out Again. What's Weird Is When I'm Focusing On The Cross Hair The Target Is Still Clear. Is There Something Wrong With My Scope Or My Eyes lol.
Thanks

What’s wrong when one side of your reticle is lower than the other ? They do not cross in the middle ,but it still shoots smack on?
Don't need to close one eye to look into a scope when you already have an eye patch 😅 jk
Thanks. Well explained. I like the intro and outro.
Thanks so much for this most basic bare bones tutorial on what you do to each at end of the thing. Now I can take my new 7×57 to the range just to see if anything comes out the other end and all I have to do with the scope, as there aren't any field sights on this thing, is twist the eye piece lens to focus, then twist the far(objective, like on a telescope) end lens to see target and I'm done. For a guy that has always used iron sights I can't tell you how valuable this was. Ironically the other stuff about bore-sighting and click adjustments for windage and elevation I am already knowledgable of. How weird is that? I liked and subscribed you. Also love you vid on cold bluing.
I can't focus n my crosshairs they keep going blurry
Hi great video. Question- Will this also work if my scope is zeroed at 100 yrds but I need to hit something at 50 or so?
Joe, I'm a noob to long range shooting so I'm still figuring a lot of things out. I've watched a bunch of videos on scopes and haven't seen an explanation of the eye piece focus ring. At the range, I tried adjusting it but was looking at my target so I didn't see any change. Years ago I had emergency surgery to repair a detached retina so my eyesight isn't great and I thought it was just me not being able to tell the difference. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! Now I know how to use all of the features of my scope!
i do that but my eye just starts to focus on the target and the crosshair goes really out of focus and i can barely see it
Howdy Joe! Could you suggest some close focusing scopes? Keep up the good videos!
Exept the outro I understood everything very well haha!

Hi, what is little screw on the magnification adjustment ring?
Simple, and just what I needed. Thanks much.
Vids are making me smarter. CC – I’d like to see vid showing how to adjust parallax on a scope with fixed parallax. I shoot springers so I shoot inside 40 yards.

I'm having issues with getting my Diamondback 4-12×40 reticle and target both in focused at 50yds. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Thank you very much very well explained
Wtf did i just watch
While adjusting diopter/eyepiece, do i look at crosshair or at the background?
It must seem silly to you to do a video like this but it sure helps me. Thanks Joe !
APPRECIATE your simple explanation. Great information. Thank you
What power should you set scope to do this?
Will adjusting this again effect you zero?
Is distance a factor in focusing the reticle?
Thank you. Another very informative video. I always come here first.
