Hollywood California? That's pretty shocking
ar = Automatic rifle
Compare that to new Daniel Defense AR’s. They came a long way!
The charging handle is super cool, but I wouldn't want an AR with that on it lol
Never thought i‘d say that an AR15 looks kinda wierd 🧐…
I love the charging handle
You know i dont hate the top charging handel. Seems like it would be better for the time
We won't go quietly, the legion can count on that.
Good god, that barrel is insanely skinny. I thought the mini14 barrel was skinny.
I’ve always love these style guns are beautiful to me. Reminds of the old M-16s.
Proof that men are into fashion.!!!!!!!!!!!
Why didnt the 25 round mags take off? Surely they would have been better than the 20's and assuming the same number of mags are carried having 25% more ammo would have been a god send surely?
Very sleek, I’m sure they won’t do anything to make the design less symmetrical.
Things like this must be so fun for Ian to do. He gets to handle so many cool pieces of history.
Agent 000007 on the scene
Got the FAMAS charging handle, interesting.
❤😮
I (perhaps embarrassingly) had no clue that the original AR-15s were select-fire—I thought AR-15 always referred to the sporting version for civilian sale—nor that they had that top charging handle reminiscent of the FAMAS. So cool!
Cool
My dude is getting yoked up! Don’t brake the AR in half bud!
The early ones had a rep for jamming at critical times in fire fights in Vietnam, according to reports I’ve read.
How much?
I wonder how many moder AR15 parts would fit on this
Wait, AR15 or M16? Mine seems to be missing the full auto. Don't tell me a. Boomer screwd me over. Thank you Ian and keep up the good work 👍
Hey Ian! I volunteer at The Fort Lee Ordnance TSF here in Virginia and got the chance to go through their small arms collection. In it, they had AR-15 000007!
Despite being the serial number right after this one, the one I got to hold seemed to have a few differences. It has a traditional T charging handle, the modern “safe, semi, auto” setup on the selector, and a short 3 prong muzzle device.
Is this a legitimate change between serial # 6 and 7? Or is this a modification later (you say this one is one of the few left in original configuration)
Normies gonna lose their minds when they see the third pin on an AR15
25 round mag is a bit closer to the 30 rounds in the AKMs they were going up against, compared to 20.
Isnt like the plastic parts made by mattel next to Barbie Dolls?
Cool‼️ It's always great to see the evolution of anything ‼️
I like that they put all those zeros in front, just like they know they would be building millions more.
Huh so french copied the charging lever concept for Famas? Intresting
