In this video we go squirrel hunting in Southern Illinois at Carlyle Lake on public land while planning and scouting for deer hunting including scat, scrapes, trails, rubs and any other sign we can find.
In this video we are using a 12 gauge shotgun in Mossberg 500A with a 20 inch barrel and number 6 shot 2-3/4″ round.
Please keep in mind the importance of pattering your shotgun “Before You Go Out Hunting”.
We recommend using a large surface area like a 3ft x 3ft piece of cardboard or what not to help in pattering your shotgun.
