Kind of a cool system for something like a 300BLK or 338ARC maybe, where you could zero the scope and red dot differently for subs/supers
It’s stumpy. It’s sexy. Giggidy! But 3-9?! Gheeeeey! 1 or 2-10? Badass! You know they’re tinkering. TINKER HARDER. FASTER! Lol

I dont know about that 2.5” eye relief, I always hated the acog for that reason. I run a unity riser on my EOTech as well, the more upright my dome is, the better my brain processes a room, not sure why but having my head sideways on the gun just bothers me. Each to his own, they def have a better cheek weld etc at factory height
It was Delta force and it spiraled down with these ridiculous hight some as high as 2.5”. The way they do cqb is not what you’re average swat going to replicate and I too think it’s silly for 99% of the folks out there. Stop larping and run what fits you.
If you think tall mounts are gay for passive shooting you have never used one. So much easier to get a pvs14 behind a 1.93 red dot compared to an absolute height. Extremely niche application but they have their place, I don't get the 1.93 scope mounts though.
I got one and mounted it on my 16" 6.8 SPC AR. My astigmatism doesn't like the EFLx or the Leupold DPP. Good news is the Holosun SCS 320 is also the DPP footprint and my eyes like Holosun. I wish EOTech had gone RMR footprint with the EFLx.
I look at that optic and imagine it on a 16" suppressed bolt action in an MDT HNT26 or a JTAC Elf Owl chassis. It just screams quick deploy bag gun optic to me.
If the "aircraft grade" aluminum was 7075 they would just say it so I'm assuming that means it's 6061.
