i have a 512, from what research i did, EOTech advises against thread locker, rather when tightening the screws, you apply forward pressure on the optic and a little notch on the bottom is supposed to keep it in place. Havent had any issues doing this so far with mine and the optic sits solid.

I'd like to get an Eotech someday but for now, my AR15 has a Sig Romeo 4XT-Pro. If I ever get an AR10 (I'm still undecided about which to get), maybe I'll top it off with a proper optic like an Eotech.
