Helping a Friend With His FIRST AR15 (Zeroing Went Wrong)

In this video, I help a friend set up his very first AR-15 and take it to the range to get zeroed. Things didn’t go as planned… we ran into some strange issues during the zeroing process, with shots flying off target and inconsistent groups.

That left us wondering: is the problem with his optic, or is it the rifle itself?

To troubleshoot, I brought his optic home and mounted it on one of my rifles to put it to the test. After shooting several groups, the optic seems to be holding up , so the mystery continues. I’ll walk you through my troubleshooting process, including the 8 cycles of function I use when diagnosing AR15 problems.

We’ll be taking another look at his rifle in a future video, so stay tuned!
