In case you are new to mounting scopes on your rifles, here is a short tip on eye relief. If you want more information on setting eye relief, check our blog on WarneScopeMounts.com and watch the video on mounting a scope on an AR-15-style rifle.
Setting eye relief on a scope is very important and should be done on the scope’s highest magnification. I personally set it to my most common shooting position for a particular rifle. If I am going to be shooting prone a lot, then I want to set it while in a prone position; if I shoot standing, then in a standing position. There are a lot of details to be covered that can’t be covered in a 60-second short. If there is enough demand, I will do a full video on eye relief.
