Streamlight Megastream Review EDC Review vs Olight & NItecore

I’m done with Olight products, several of my 2 to 4 year old flashlights and magnetic chargers have shit the bed. Streamlight is for sure best bang for the buck in my long term opinion.

300 meters =984 feet, less than the rated range of the megastream. How are those evergreens 111' away. Is it on low?

You should try the Acebeam TAC AA 2.0. It's awesome!

Javalot is good for long range, I use the warrior x for edc. Have a couple of streamlights but no nicore

That Streamlight seems good for the price. I do appreciate that Streamlight still has simple mode options.

I was gonna buy the megastream for a light when I didnt have concern for pocket space/concealment. I ultimately chose the Cloud Defensive MCH

That Javelot is a definite throw monster and looks great in ODG! I prefer the Baton Turbo as a smaller thrower that you can carry! Great review my friend!

I'll stick with my Surefire Tactician, or the P6.

Great video! I’d be curious on your thoughts of all the smaller flashlights compared. MicroStream and Pokelit sized lights of all different brands. AA, AA, and built in battery variants. I’ve been down a rabbit hole trying to find some great options. I have multiple needs and can’t really find many great videos on this topic to help me out. Your opinions are usually very straight forward and have great reason!

I began my edc flashlight obsession with the fenix ld01 and its still in my pocket after all these years. However for a larger flashlight I've moved on from fenix to olight stuff, mainly the arkfeld pro. Should I explore nitecore? I like their power banks.

Have you checked out the Olight Arkfeld? My EDC is the Ultra in green (she’s very pretty). It’s flat, so it fits great in my pocket (deep two way pocket clip, so you can put in on the bill of you cap too)and has some power (up to 1400lm). Down side: built-in battery, but it has a very long battery life 9-10hrs on medium @100lm, 55hrs on low @15lm. I can’t remember ever completely running out of juice in the 3-4 months I’ve owned mine. But it’s got a battery indicator, so you know how much juice you have left.

I will never understand why Surefire still charges what they do for their flashlights. I feel like they are being left in the dust and there are now numerous companies who make flashlights that are just as good as far as quality for way less money. Surefire is way overrated and overpriced.

I really like the idea of the mega stream. I have stream protac 2l-x. I really been thinking about the wedge. The bullet style lights can get bulky in the pockets in my opinion.

I know sig gets hate. But there edc light is outstanding. Dual fuel. When on sale like 90 bucks. Very simple on off. And tough as nails
