The ATF is at it again, ignoring court rulings and common sense when it comes to pistol braces.
A member of Gun Owners of America (GOA) asked a straightforward question about attaching a pistol brace to a CZ Scorpion Mini Plus, and the ATF responded with a resounding “Yes, it would turn it into an SBR.”
Here’s the kicker: federal courts have already ruled against the ATF’s pistol brace ban, yet they’re still pushing this nonsense.
This isn’t just about pistol braces—it’s about the ATF overstepping its authority, ignoring the law, and setting a dangerous precedent.
If they can get away with this, what’s next? Will they reinterpret laws to ban standard magazines or semi-auto rifles without Congress passing a single law? This is tyranny disguised as enforcement.
Gun Owners of America is fighting back, demanding answers and accountability, but the ATF’s silence speaks volumes. If we let them ignore the courts now, the consequences could ripple far beyond pistol braces.
The Second Amendment is about defending yourself and keeping the government in check.
The ATF needs to remember who they work for—**us**.

Crazy question. So during an illegal drug deal the buyer and seller are arrested, these things we know. So when a person buys a brace pistol and you’re cleared to get it, and your state charges you sales tax, but now I’m illegal….. isn’t my state part of that deal because they took money for that transaction?
I do what I want period. I don't need atf telling me what to do with my weapons…

It's like the ref calling an infraction and the whole team saying "F you we ain't taking the 10 yard penalty, or Nope the player refusing to go into the penalty box etc.

This is so ridiculous now. Confusing as hell. Can we reinstall the braces or not?
"When a government agency openly defies court orders"… sounds like what the Orange Man administration is doing daily.
It never did sit well with me when you have a 9mm PISTOL CALIBER PISTOL with a barrel length of say 10” a pistol grip and it fits the definition of a pistol, no matter how you hold and fire it. Slap a pistol brace on it for whatever reason the user needs it for and suddenly it’s an SBR because the “possibly” exists that some folks “might” shoulder it.
What if it’s a folding pistol brace then for when we’re having a good day (the wrist arthritis is behaving)…..Folded….its a pistol……unfolded it’s an SBR.
Meanwhile there are revolver type hanguns/pistols out there with 10, even 12” barrels out there that you can snap a shoulder type stock on it (demonstrated by Lee Van Cleef in a Fist Full of dollars) and the ATF doesn’t consider em an SBR?
The ATF is overstepping, making up rules to fit the agenda rather seek clarification from Congress like they’re supposed to.
Hopefully the new ATF leadership rectify the hypocrisy’s
So why don’t we all rally at their Office, walk in, and tell them what’s going to happen? 🤷🏽♂️ People love being on camera, but don’t use their influence to really do something about the issue.
