Don’t get the mag lock gen 4!!! Get the gen 2!!! The gen 2 is exactly the same except it stays attached. The setscrew never worked and the system was bunk.
The gen 2 was stronger than a standard mag release with better catch.
Even if you get the st screw working, it’s a weaker system with no benefits.
So Gen 2 all the way!!!

How does it lock back in? Thats the important part, do you have to raise the front part of the gun to be able to release the bolt or does the insertion of magazine make it go back together?
