Best AR-15? Why SOLGW Deserves a Look

They don't "make" anything. I don't get the obsession. This review is odd. The VLTOR A5 system is not "consistent" on every platform, barrel length, suppressor, ammo type etc. You're seriously misunderstanding that one.

The FCD lower isn't ambi. The other lowers that "mirror" the left side actually offer bolt-catch on the right side. The FCD lower doesn't.

The problem with reviews like this is that people will say nice things about companies that give them free stuff. SOLGW are more like quality builders than manufacturers. Having said that, I'm sure they're nice rifles. But I would buy so many LMT, Geissele, DD, Radian, KAC before I touched SOLGW.

My PSA puts groups in a half dollar circle @100yrds with a 3moa and 3x magnifier. Its not always the tool.. yet the one who uses it that makes a big difference

SOLGW is Ballistic Advantage quality sold at boutique prices, to morons who don't know anything about AR-15s.
Ya, they're so good, that no one in the military or law enforcement (other than the local police in the town they are made in), uses them.
Lifetime warranty doesn't mean anything. Most companies have that, and it's only as good as long as the company stays open.
SOLGW keeps trying to sell features every other manufacturer has, as though they never existed before SOLGW.
They are bullshit artists. of the highest order.

The A5 has pros and cons and is one of the most over hyped buffer system IMO. That said, the SOLGW is the best AR rifle on the market with one of the best warranties. The receivers are out standing as is the quality control and parts selection they build in every rifle..

personally I think SOLGW should design a side charging bufferless AR-15 platform. different than any other bufferless system on the market, and sell it, for no more than they sell their current AR configurations. that to me, would make SOLGW the best AR manufacturer in the business, and not until then.

You can build the exact rifle for cheaper using the manufacturers they use

Idk. I seen some pretty bad builds come out of solgw. You can definitely build something better for the price, with a better barrel.

Definitely interested in getting a MK1 CAR 5.56. Hopefully Shark Coast will have a SOLGW in store event SOON.

ADM UIC Mod 2 is the best bang for your buck. Billet upper and lower, full ambi lower (catch and release), criterion barrel, geissele trigger and radian ch and safety.

That’s definitely worth the price for all of that
