It all depends on your firearm ,if your optic fails how you going to see? Irons right for me I pick the optic that works for the gun to co witness , but I have aems and 510 and love them both in different ways love running the the Hsm3x so much fun to get better grouping and further shoots off. And 510c have QD so if something happens, throw that bad boy off no tools N get back to work

I went with the AEMS. For the guns that I'm not running my eotechs on.
510C is a very common and continuing optic. Hell I just bought the black body red optic option last week. I plan on getting the FDE body green optic option for my AR Pistol sometime soon.

En route, I've got a pair of Swampfox Kraken enclosed emitter RDSs. Bought one for my ole medic for Xmas, and got myself one for the P80 G19MOS I'm in the process of assembling.

I have the 510 as well, I’d definitely go with the AEMS given the chance. Smaller footprint, same reticle choice. I think it’s even a little cheaper.
I don’t buy Chinese
Id prefer too see farther than 50 yards with anything rifle caliber. My 9mm pistol and carbine get dots. LPVO everything else and thinking about changing my 1-8 on my 308 for a bit more magnification.
Can I put these on as glasses?
Enclosed design is very important for real world use. It is very common to experience weather conditions. The worse thing is having the red dot malfunction on you when you need it.
Solar is such a useless gimmick on these optics

The aems is awesome. I have a TERRIBLE astigmatism and it’s the only dot or holo that I can use the circle dot setting. (Imagine going to a gun shop dead set on buying an eotech and the entire thing is just a blur. And yes I know how to be target focused.)

I would say for me PRICE! I am a hard working blue collar firefighter that doesnt get paid enough and I am nowhere close to having “fuck you” kinda stacks to justify spending more than a couple hundo for something I shoot maybe once a week at my local range. I know, it sucks… I get it but God bless America and President Trump and the rest of the 2A supporters🇺🇸

AEMS is way better than Eotech
The green version of the AEMS is the most impressive hollow sight there is out there over any brand in my opinion. It has the biggest window, with a better window geometry style, being square. I don't know why, but the square window allows for a quicker target ID reticle pick-up over a round window. It also has the most crisp reticle holosun makes that is significantly more crisp than any micro optic they make. This is very noticeable and you can tell Holosun put their maximum amount of development into the AEMS and that it is one of their primary flagship optics. I've been through many optics of different brands and it's my favorite optic of all. It's expensive, but it's well worth the extra money. As with everything quality in America, you get what you pay for!
