My stock which I assume is adjustable just slides from one end to the other, shouldn't it lock in place like a real one?

Just built mine. I like this one more than the AK. For the most part it was super easy, except the hand guards. Had to study how they are built as well as well as the barrel and where the hand guards connect (both sides, closely!). After that, easy sailing although mounting the sight is a little difficult, but not bad.
On the hand guard it actually meant to go upside down large on top and top on bottom then is locks in if you put the large part on the bottom two nubs on the front ring will not let it seat right
I just got this AR-15 from my son for Father's day and I am putting it together but the top rail is not cooperating. I cannot force it in the front and it is bottom out on one side. How do you use the stand?

Having trouble installing top handrail….spring bottoms out before it allows top rail to clear.
Does it cycle/eject though? I will buy a couple of goatguns for me and a friend as a gift, but I need to know which to get, and this one is top choice. 😄
