The Streamlight TLR-1 HL is a proven favorite, but Harbor Freight’s clone costs a fraction of the price. Is it a hidden gem or just cheap junk? Watch and find out.

Hopefully they make a 7 clone too.
I like that on the website/ app, it states that it will fit a Beretta 90-TWO. 😆 I mean, I love mine. But it's getting to be a rare bird these days
strobe is for disorienting a threat with bright, flashing light. its very useful
To me, this would be the perfect light for my "nightstand" pistol!….It NEVER goes out of the house!….Just sayin'!
That's crazy. This copy is 30 bucks cheaper then a replacement LED bulb for my TLR1, which I could only get from Japan.
This is what happens when a country (China) refuses to respect international intellectual property rights.
Good morning, Chris. I'm curious about your desk tray. Where can i find one and have you done a review for it?
You can buy a extended warranty from harborfreight for about 8 to 12 bucks for 2 years
This is like the fifth video in two days on this light. Nobody will be able to find one of these lights for months now.
Probably made in the same factory
Holy shit
Even if these don't turn out to be sufficient for EDC/Duty, I see them being a great training option for people who use TLR-1 lights. I think I'm going to grab a few if I can find them. Great initial review. Looking forward to your long term findings.
Thanks for sharing
Need a 500 round recoil test.
I might get one for my sub2k.
These lights are great, I have several – no issues. Fits my holsters without issues. I am sure someone will say there Chinese made or something – I DON'T CARE. It's a damn good tactical light.
Very interesting, just need to see long term, thanks!
I'll probably buy one just to use as a flashlight. With the option of attaching to a firearm..
As far as the waterproof rating is concerned (I don't have this light so I could be wrong) but it is likely they did what some smartphone makers do. It costs to get the actual IPX testing so they may have just made it to the spec, but didn't pay the fee to get the official rating. Saves money and can pass that savings on to the customer.
I felt the Braun was slightly brighter than the streamlight but it was hard to tell
