  1. want to buy my first rifle and been doing a ton of research can some one explain please why do rifle manufacturers market their compact wood-stocked models as 'youth' or 'women's' rifles, but then sell essentially the same thing in a synthetic stock as a
'mountain rifle'? If the specs are nearly identical-short barrel, lightweight-what's the real difference other than marketing?
In example the weatherby vanguard camilla weighs about 6.5 lbs
The x bolt compact weighs about the same plus they both come with wood stocks and cost much less? Those rifles have similar pull length to the Winchester m70 featherweight compact but the Winchester is not marketed for women or youth
    ?!?

  2. The model 20 review was neat. As a 38/44 collector I think they were on the right path with the gun they produced but why pick the 6.5" barrel? The most produced by far was the 5" and 4" follows. Yes rumor has it that a few 8 3/8" made it out the door, but I have never seen one. I saw a 5" 30 carbine experimental was up for auction recently so the 38/44 Heavy Duty lived a long and useful life. You can buy full power loads from companies like Buffolo Bore or make your own with appropriate load data. Good 38/44 loads feel like many 357 Magnum loads that have been watered down over the years. I enjoyed the video, I just hope they bring out a 5" model 20 or even a 4" model 20. Now if we really dream, can we have a 6.5" model 23 again?

  3. We here in Ky figured it out a long time ago when we started seeing all the Californian and New Yorkers moving here and Tennessee lol Tennessee is that annoying little brother that we love because we’re family but fight like cats and dogs😂

  4. When I started watching gun tubers, some of the main ones I liked were Paul Harrel, James Yeager, Demolition Ranch, and Hickok 45. Now, since Paul and James have passed away, and Demo Ranch retired, Hickok is the only one left out of that group. As you get older one thing you can count on is things change. Sometimes for the best, and sometimes for the worst.
