An old optic mounted on a new rifle made from old parts. Results were not too bad.

Nice old-school rig, and impressive (if surprising) improvement on the grouping! But before you go messing around with magnifying the optics, why not get a baseline with those good old reliable iron sights? Then you can better figure out how the optic compares at different ranges (and how much that added parallax may be messing with your 50/200 zero)
