Hera Arms showed off the newest version of the 15TH Subcompact at IWA 2025 bringing a hyper-compact AR-style rifle designed for CQB and personal defense. Featuring a super short barrel an M-LOK handguard, enhanced ergonomics, and a lightweight design, this rifle is built for ultra-maneuverability without sacrificing firepower. With its compact size and tactical features could this be a great subcompact AR for 2025.

  1. I bought one of those stocks. It sits in my a closet now. It's has a terrible grip angle and is really odd to shoulder. I saw tomorrow war and wanted to build a rifle like the one's in the movie, I never bought the fore-grip, I wouldn't spend the money on it after I got the stock. It looks cool, but totally not practical.

  2. It's neat looking, but not very practical. It's especially frustrating that they bothered with this whenever we have the NFA in the way of any kind of SBR. Sure, if you live in the right state you can pay the tax stamp and all. But then it's a pain to move from state to state if you want to take it for a competition or shoot it on a friend or relative's property in another state.

  3. Hera is meh imo, I have their ar10 quad rail and the set screws are very small, and the heads of the screws wear out easily.
Also the rail has no way of securely indexing to the upper AND it’s a few millimeters shorter than the low profile upper I have.
