Every time we have a training event in my group, I pull out my sub $1000 PSA and I lube it up real good and can put hundreds of rounds through it rain or shine. It doesn’t matter. There’s always two or three guys running super expensive Daniel defense or BCM or some other name, rifle Sigg or what have you And they’re constantly having problems constantly adjusting constantly checking specs, constantly having to adjust their gas. It was pouring rain for six hours and we were outside training the whole time on the last one and my rifle is the only one that did not jam that day. You guys are basically buyingGucci T-shirts. Apples to apples comparison there’s nearly no difference in AR 15s anymore.

I keep seeing all these different videos of BCM and Daniel defense and all these other companies and people are touting 1500 or $2000 rifle builds that are pretty basic set ups. By all means spend your money where you’re going to spend it but a damn AR 15 is just an AR 15. Look at Palmetto State Armory. Their barrels were from FN which I think they make barrels in house now but I could be wrong. Either way their quality control is impeccable and you can have a fully built AR 15 free float with a nice red dot and or LPVO and if you really want throw in a good trigger and a really good muzzle break with an adjustable block and heavier buffer. It will have sub MMOA and have practically no recoil for around the $1000 mark. Maybe a little more depending on your scope.why do people think you need to spend thousands of dollars to get a high quality product? Most of the time you are buying the name. If you compared apples to apples, maybe the BCG is coded differently, but the gas tubes are the same. The barrels are pretty much, the same quality the upper and lower receivers are made out of the same aluminum. The buffer spring is the same, the buffer tube and the stocks and or pistol brace, and the buffer itself is the same. The stupid flash harder you get on the end of your barrel is pretty much the same. It’s like buying a Gucci T-shirt at this point. There’s so many people out here looking for the next big product they’re willing to spend anything to say they have it.
