I hope that this video helped you think about the different things that go include setting up your first rifle. We would love to know your thoughts on what we have to say. Do you agree? Do you think a sling is important lol?

Prior to EVERY video, weapons are checks and cleared, even if you do not see it in the video. A lot of times, it may appear as though firearms are being pointed at heads or arms or bodies and this is often due to the camera angle at which the videos are filmed. If anyone would like to discuss firearms safety my instagram DMs are ALWAYS open if you would like to discuss or learn more about what we do.

Got my 1st AR 6 months ago. I put red dot , sling and light. That’s really all I need.
Great timing just bought my first AR yesterday lmfao
Mil Spec Trigger: #1 smooth all edges. #2 Polish/wet sand with 2000 Grit, then buff all surfaces. #3 Install JP Enterprise Tactical trigger spring set.
It's not a match trigger. But it's smooth as glass with a trigger weight safe enough for Duty or Self Defense.
I Just got my Sig sauer MCX , i love it!!
Videos like this are needed, safety and knowledge goes a long way with firearms! Keep learning, Stay ready!
Its pretty simple to set up your rifle, why do we need videos . Its crazy. I set mine up without instructions, lol. Just poking at ya!! I do watch your channel. Thanks guys!!
another very important thing i always keep with my rifle is a torniquet rubber banded to the stock. Something too many people forget about with having firearms is if youre gonna have something that puts holes in things, its also good to keep around things that plug holes too. Keeping a torniquet secured somewhere out of the way on your rifle is a good trick to always having at least 1 torniquet on hand if you ever need to grab your rifle and go like in a home defense situation. just remember to replace the rubber bands every few months or so to keep them fresh. Another thing is if youre rifle is for home defense a light with 1500+ lumens is a must and i strongly recommend getting one with a "strobe" feature which can be used to disorient youre target giving you a window to work with to engage…. and trust me you can get a really good one for around $50, dont be going and spending 3 figures on a light.
When I bought my LWRCi M6IC DI in 2018 I got an AFG included because of their proprietary rail.

Light Atibal Illumination A3 head 18650 Surefire body, Surefire dual tailcap and pressure pad on T-Rex picatinny mount
I’m super pumped about getting my first AR in a few months. I really dig your review and setup vids. I’m still trying to figure out what to purchase but watching your vids is helping greatly. You guys rule. Cheers
Im a firm believer of setting up your rifle and all of your set up in general for your area of living. I’m a in a rural area so I went with 18 in LWRC 556 1-8 With piggy back red dot. If something was to happen I wouldn’t be taking shots more than 600 yards. Most engagements would be 300 yards and in. If I was in the city a 14.5 with eotech and magnifier would be the go to
I used electrical tape to remove any wobble in my stock.
New to AR world. First build is a 11.5” pistol for fun and personal defense. Bought an sig Tango 1-6 with gun. Didn’t take long to realize that’s not a great choice for that style rifle. So it will go in the parts bin and a red dot will go on that rifle. Next build will be more of a SPR build so I can use it on that.
I do not care for some expensive sling and I customize all my gear anyway. Sparky is right.
I find that the gun world and hotrod world are very similar. Many people buy stuff thats way out of the scope of what their needs realy are.
Thank you Elliot. Thank you Coleman. I’m right here in East Los Angeles, California
Let's see more of your IWI..please
Cost effective GWOT-y way of taking wobble out of an M4 stock @16:01 is a small piece of electrical tape on the buffer tube near the end where the stock rides.
Sights/ opt sling light then gizmos
Optic light sling furniture in that order
sling being the 4th thing you buy is an insane opinion. In the order of importance it goes optic, sling, light then furniture
