Whenever I train someone I shut the debates down on caliber/brand and tell them "comfort is king." Reliability is also necessary.
If you aren't comfortable, then you will never be as good as you can be.
It can be the best gun, caliber, whatever and if it doesn't fit you and your situational needs… problems.
