You are right, I use Vickers, but I will admit you make a good point.
I just got a magpul "quick adjust" 2 point-single piece sling (30 bucks). Directions were terrible and after watching a video install I didn't even like the configuration so I reinstalled it different ways until i found a custom "wrong" configuration I liked. I also had the "upside down rifle" issue but my front point is fixed so I rearranged in a way that I can work around it in front rest atleast. With how expensive slings are I think I might just weave my own out of 550 cord rather than buying more expensive. That 13 dollar one looks cool but I don't use amazon haha

The one I bought was back in 2020-2021, I caught a GBRS group sling at a deal and bought it for my rifle. I wanted one that was a quick adjustment, and added an extra tab on it to be able to quick adjust it either direction
