Very interesting. I too have a chance to look through both of these. Yes, the eotegh magnifier is very clear but not so good eye relief. My holosun 3x was easier to get behind. I would add that the mount is top notch very clicky and sturdy. The holosun mount is not good. My mount has become very loose. Not the attachment but the flip over hinge has loosened alot.
