Brand new for 2025 the EoTech Vudu 3-9 is unlike any optic seen to date. It is only 6.8 inches in length and uses an ACOG footprint mounting pattern. What makes this thing different from an ACOG is the ability to adjust the magnification like a regular hunting scope or LPVO. It also comes with a red dot mount to run an offset sight. All this being said I think there are some steps that EoTech could take to make thing even better. If you’re looking for a compact variable power optic, this might be the right one for you!

Adjusting your magnification doesn’t effect your zero! It affects your BDC/ranging IF it’s a SFF scope. Jeez.

SFP seems counter to the design with 3-9x suggesting a long range use only. I guess you are only expected to take shots at range at 9x but then why even have 3-8x other than target spotting? FFP would have at least allowed you to use that hideous reticle at various magnifications.
