  1. I have the newer version. Glock had the same false reports of cracked plastic in the begining from people that don't like anything but their traditional standards (Steel). People make up reviews that haven't ever fired it before. I've shot mine thousands of rounds with no problems. It feeds better than my friends Rock River. This rifle kicks serious booty!! I filed the trigger a little to lighten it up a bit. I highly recommend the carbon 15. Everyone that shoots mine falls in love with it.

  2. i bought a booklet of raffle tickets for 20.00 us dollars and i won a bushmaster gun like this for 20 smackaroos. i hope i like it.i am a membe rof a gun club il let you know what i think of it. Ty for your review man.

  3. DONT SWAP BARREL NUTS… Also if you do a barrel swap, DO NOT OVER-TORQUE YOUR BARREL NUT. The threads can and will get stripped if you do those above things. I like bushmaster alot but i tinkered once too many with this gun.

  4. I boguht this gun a few months ago, and as stated, the newer models do have forward assist and a dust cover, and I put a really nice scope on it. Great weapon system thus far.

I think most of the issues with people not liking it boil down simply to the carbon form factor. This sort of annimosity also existed when Glock first came out and after a few years died down, and I am sure it will go away with the AR type weapon.

  5. I have a new C15 ORC with the dust cover and forward assist. I have had relatively no problems. A few jams here and there. Most likely due to crappy Bushmaster mags. Excellent weapon. Especially with a foregrip and a good stock.

  6. beware of this weapon. I had a hair line crack in the upper. receiver. near the forward assist. it is a 1980s huyundai of ARs . . I spotted the problem 2 days after I got it. hadn't even shot it yet.

  7. I have a Carbon 15 and put 2000 rounds through it with cheep surplus ammo. and it operates just like my Colt ar-15. No failure and no stopage. This is a vary well rounded wepon that is 2.5 lbs lighter than than the Colt AR.

  8. i wanna watch a video where the comentator has had to live of what he or she could carry from a back pack and his or her m16 and side arm for a couple days while surviving out in the mountains somwhere with food to last for 2 days but with the plan to hunt for food to last for a week with nothing but tools to make a fire and his or her weapon.

  9. I love my Bushy AR Carbon 15 .223 carbine. The newest models have all the stuff that most people complain about. Mine has forward assist and dust cover. It shoots greats and has never jammed.I would'nt trade it for any other AR-15. You can view a short video of my gun if you search AR-15 Superlight Carbon 15 .223 carbine

  10. @thoumaturgica I never claimed to Know it all, these are my opinion and experiences on the rifle I currently own. I have been around firearms all my life and have shot many guns including many ar15. If you dont like my videos then by all means dont watch.

  11. @assmonkey626 its funny that you say that, Thats actually my next project. Im alittle tight on money right now because I'm restoring my 70 chevelle ss. I will definitely take that into consideration!

  12. you ever think about building your own? you can go cheap if you build it otherwise DPMS and Del-Ton have some cheap models you can get for 700-800 retail they will usually come with cleaning kits and extra mags too. although i think most of the 20" or 24" you will find out there are slightly more expensive than carbines. usually because manufacturers will put weird shit on there like expensive stocks, free float hand guards, and stainless steel barrels ect ect…

  13. B/C the wepon is made to be with the bolt forward. Just like there isnt a forward assist either. Its not needed . Gen 1 M16s didnt have these either. If you cant push the bolt forward with your thumb then you need to check the rifle or the ammo.

  14. Protip: just buy a stripped lower and upper, and transfer the parts. You will have another 300-400 in the AR, and it will be just as accurate, more reliable (forward assist), and cheaper than another AR, but Black Rifle Disease is hard to cure, so have fun!
